Timoteo is the the current boss of the Vongola Famiglia. He is ninth generation Vongola Boss, inherited from his mother, Daniela, the Vongola Ottavo. He asked for Reborn's aid to train Tsunayoshi Sawada to become Vongola Decimo.

Character Outline

Appearance

He has grey hair and a mustache. As a young man, he had fair hair and was clean-shaven. Like most Mafia members, he usually wears a suit. In the past, when visiting a young Tsuna, he wore a large, wide-brimmed brown hat and a blue shirt.

Personality

He's shown to be kind and understanding in his interactions with Tsuna, who sees him as a grandfather.

Powers and abilities

It is revealed that he has been plagued with problems concerning his legs, thereby limiting his mobility.

Timoteo's stamp is the Dying Will Flame; he marks documents with his Sky Flames, proving that they are official.

Techniques

• Zero Point Breakthrough: First Edition: a technique created by Vongola Primo and later used by Timoteo and the Tenth Vongola Boss. It is made up of highly negative compressed energy that can seal away Dying Will Flames and can only be melted by Dying Will Flames.

Weapons

• Scepter: It was the weapon that Timoteo used on Xanxus during the Cradle Affair. The full extent of the power of the scepter is unknown, though the Ninth has been shown using the Zero Point Breakthrough: First Edition on Xanxus when he caused the rebellion.

Trivia

• Timoteo has a private jet called Fenice (フェニーチェ, Fenīche?), which is Italian for "phoenix."^{[citation needed]}
